Job description

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years. As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Iberia Life Science Business Unit managing our region 1 (Aragón, Catalunya, Com. Valenciana, Murcia, Illes Balears and Islas Canarias).
In this role you will:
Provide added value Represents Sysmex in area accounts:
Regular visits to key clients within accounts to establish strong contacts for ongoing or future business
Lead large projects and manage solutions/services
Extensive knowledge of client / hospital / laboratories / IVD
Company sales policies
Establish an area business plan through knowledge of the main accounts and investment of sales representatives based on:
Customer management (customer history, database of Sysmex and competitors customers, analysis of Field Sales Representatives and monitoring of orders in the area and their billing, project management for customers A, B)
Knowledge of the state of the market (CRM)
Determine customer needs (CRM)
Determine action plan of area sales representatives for budget acquisition (CRM)
Possess deep knowledge of your commercial region
Provide the necessary documentation for private contracts, in addition to writing and sending your contract
Management of the regional sales organization:
Responsible for developing work instructions in accordance with the OGP (OTC) together with the help of the Business Unit Manager, Sales Manager and the Field Sales Representatives.
Manage employees/resources and establish tasks and objectives (e.g. Propose incentives/plans and salary reviews, bonuses, manage verification and appraisal of sales delegates, approve expense reports for the sales organization)
Provide support to your regional team in the execution of their responsibilities (Field Sales Representatives)
Carry out external sales and inventory control processes
Manage and ensure the progress and quality of work
Provide support in the management of accounts receivable
Manage professional and multinational environments
Scientific training for physicians and scientific support
Close workflow with physician
Management of CRM (Sales Funnel, BI) as well as management tools (dashboard, sales, OPEX, PVP and accounts receivable)
Know and execute the code of conduct and compliance
The Regional Team Leader must be an example to follow in the company's standards of conduct and compliance (both with clients and internal workers), following our code of ethics and as Sysmex brand ambassador.
Manage people and multidisciplinary teams
The Regional Team Leader is responsible not only for coordination, but also for the management and development of people. The management of social and communication skills, assertiveness and great leadership capacity is considered implicit in this position.
Evaluation of the performance of their teams, linked to the generation of career plans and their training.
Detection and development of the “high potential” of the region of their responsibility.
Job requirements
What you need to be sucessful:
University degree or equivalent in biosciences
IT: MS Office, email program, essential CRM (Sales Funnel) management
Languages: Fluent English and Spanish
Technical knowledge of products/IVD Industry, commercial experience, Commercial Management, Personal Management Professional experience for the position.
4 – 6 years of experience in the laboratory area (IVD), experience with sales teams (P&L) and general knowledge of the product. Familiar with project management and decision making.
