Job description

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years. As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Iberia Diagnostics department.

Location: Centre & North-West zone: Madrid, Castilla la Mancha, Castilla León, Noroeste peninsular y La Rioja.

In this role you will:
🧭 Strategic & Business Planning:
Define and execute the regional business plan, using CRM tools and market knowledge.
Identify key accounts and oversee investment strategies for high-priority clients.
Analyze customer history, sales pipeline, competitor activity, and project performance to guide business decisions.
Determine and monitor the action plan of local sales representatives to achieve budget targets.
Provide documentation and support for private contract preparation and submission.
🧩 Sales Management:
Drive order generation and sales growth aligned with company targets.
Monitor sales forecasts, KPIs, and order tracking in CRM (Sales Funnel, BI tools).
Oversee inventory control and support in managing receivables and billing.
Lead and manage large-scale projects, solutions, and services for customers.
Represent Sysmex in strategic accounts and customer meetings.
🧑🤝🧑 Team Leadership & People Development:
Directly manage the regional Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Field Application Specialists (FASs).
Define tasks, propose incentive plans, conduct performance reviews, and lead salary and bonus discussions.
Support the team in day-to-day execution and ensure a high-quality standard of work.
Identify and nurture high-potential team members, supporting their career development.
Foster a positive, goal-oriented team culture focused on continuous learning and customer impact.
🔬 Scientific & Clinical Collaboration:
Provide scientific training and support to physicians and lab personnel.
Maintain close collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Act as a key resource for clinical knowledge and integration of Sysmex technologies.
📊 Tools & Systems Management:
Ensure high-quality CRM data and effective use of sales dashboards and BI tools.
Manage OPEX and profitability across your region.
Utilize internal platforms and reporting systems to track sales trends and team performance.
🛡 Compliance & Representation:
Act as a role model for compliance and ethical conduct, both internally and externally.
Represent the Sysmex brand and uphold its reputation at all levels.
Ensure adherence to the company’s code of ethics, FENIN regulations, and internal policies.
Job requirements
What you need to be sucessful:
🎓 Education & Training:
University degree or equivalent in Biosciences or related field
Proficiency in MS Office, email platforms, and CRM systems (Sales Funnel)
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
💼 Professional Experience:
4–6 years of experience in the IVD/laboratory diagnostics sector
Proven experience leading sales teams and managing P&L
Solid knowledge of diagnostic products and commercial management
Experience in project leadership and decision-making

Strong customer orientation and communication skills
Ability to present, persuade, and negotiate with confidence
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
