As our Regional Manager - Technical Service (Madrid, Castilla León, Castilla la Mancha & Canarias), you will play a key role in shaping the performance and excellence of our Technical Service organization — leading a skilled team, driving operational results, and ensuring our customers receive the quality and reliability that define Sysmex.

Your Mission

You will lead and inspire your regional Technical Service team to deliver outstanding customer support, optimize service performance, and ensure the seamless operation of our diagnostic systems across the region.

🚀 What will you do?

Strategic and Operational Planning

  • Develop and execute the regional strategic plan.

  • Define and monitor annual budgets, team objectives, and relevant forecasts.

  • Establish service goals and financial targets for the assigned area.

  • Stay up to date with new market trends, reagents, products, and equipment developments.

Team Leadership and Performance Management

  • Provide employees with relevant information on services, pricing, and organizational updates.

  • Measure, evaluate, and continuously improve team performance.

  • Balance workload and workflow across the Technical Service team.

  • Oversee technical training management, ensuring coordination and alignment with departmental needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication

  • Support other departments on all technical aspects related to their operations.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders, in coordination with Business Unit Managers.

  • Act as a link between CSC, customers, and internal departments, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.

  • Collaborate with field engineers to solve operational challenges effectively.

Process and Quality Management

  • Review and optimize service processes (OTC), implementing corrective actions as needed (MiB).

  • Ensure full compliance with Sysmex quality standards and internal/external processes (OTC & QMS).

  • Implement corrective actions following SEG Germany guidelines, ensuring customer compliance.

  • Identify service complaints and take appropriate corrective measures.

  • Maintain the quality of service tools and equipment.

  • Adapt SEG-EMEA global service standards to the local organization.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, driving continuous improvement.

  • Report incidents and prepare relevant documentation as required

Job requirements

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Biosciences.

  • Advanced Certificate in Electronics and/or equivalent industry experience.

  • Native level of Spanish and fluent English (spoken and written).

  • Technical background in electronic or electromechanical equipment, with over 5 years of experience leading technical teams within the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) or related industry.

  • Proven experience managing a team of at least four Field Service Engineers, ensuring coordination, motivation, and performance excellence.

  • Strong user knowledge of PC tools and software applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
