Job description

At Sysmex, we are shaping the advancement of healthcare by providing innovative diagnostic solutions that empower professionals and improve patients’ lives. We are currently looking for a Marketing Product Specialist (MPS) to join our Diagnostics team.

The MPS is the highest internal expert for the hematology portfolio and acts as a key technical and product reference, contributing directly to business success through strong technical expertise, marketing execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Role mission:

  1. Provide technical and product support to internal teams and customers, acting as a first- and second-level reference.

  2. Execute and support local marketing activities aligned with the Business Strategy Manager (BSM).

  3. Lead training sessions, product demonstrations, market analysis, and technical documentation, especially for tender processes.

  4. Ensure smooth coordination between marketing, sales, FAS, and other internal departments.

In this role you will:

Technical & Product Support

  • Resolve internal and customer inquiries not covered by the local FAS.

  • Manage Service Requests with headquarters for second-level support.

  • Provide advanced support on ICS topics (extended IPU, SIL connections, etc.).

  • Act as the main technical reference during hematology demonstrations.

Operational & Strategic Marketing

  • Contribute to the development of the hematology marketing plan.

  • Implement local marketing actions and support launches of new analyzers, reagents, and digital solutions.

  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date promotional and technical materials.

  • Analyze and communicate market insights, competitor activity, and clinical laboratory trends.

Training & Technical Documentation

  • Deliver technical training to internal teams on new products and updates.

  • Prepare technical documentation for tenders: technical files, evaluation criteria, and justifications.

  • Maintain a high level of expertise to explain hematology laboratory workflows and customer technical needs.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with sales, FAS, marketing, and other departments to ensure end-to-end portfolio management.

  • Professionally represent the Applications team when required.

Performance & Results

  • Achieve assigned KPIs related to demos quality and volume, tenders awarded, support effectiveness, technical expertise, and training quality.

Job requirements

What you need to be sucessful:

Professional Background

  • University degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or similar).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Hematology IVD, ideally as an Application Specialist or Product Marketing Specialist.

  • Proven experience providing technical support to internal and external customers.

  • Strong knowledge of the IVD sector and clinical laboratory workflows.

  • Experience in strategic marketing and technical training (preferred).

Languages & IT Skills

  • Spanish: Native level

  • English: Fluent (written and spoken)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email tools and basic database usage.

Other important requirments:

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of working time.

  • Ability to understand core laboratory operational processes in depth.

Personal Skills

  • Strong customer orientation, with the ability to understand clinical and operational laboratory needs.

  • Clear communication and training skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence in matrix organizations without formal authority.

  • Proactive, autonomous, and improvement-driven mindset.
