Field Service Engineer — Zaragoza

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years.

As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Technical Services Department supporting the assigned region (Zaragoza). You will be responsible of ensuring and maximizing the customer satisfaction with Sysmex product lines.

In this role you will:

• Ensure assistance aimed at customer satisfaction of all Sysmex products / solutions in the assigned geographic area

• Attend appointments with the client for corrective interventions, being responsible of the proper functioning of the installed base 

• Carry out installations and guarantees.

• Carry out repair actions, maintenance visits and execute corrective technical actions

• Report data regarding the quality situation of the installations from the field of work to the head office

• Maintain the quality of the installations & detects errors

• Keep physicians informed about the proper functioning of the laboratory facilities

• Provide basic technical training after the installations

• Provides support to sales and marketing teams in congresses, exhibitions, and workshops

• Optimize net sales within its territorial scope in cooperation with sales representatives.

What you need to be sucessful:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering or Biosciences

• Advanced Certificate in electronics and/or equivalent industry experience

• Native level of Spanish and fluent in English

• Technical electronic equipment background, 3-5 years of experience managing technical teams (IVD industry)

• Knowledge as a user of PC tools and software applications

• Capable of working independently and to work under stressful situation
