Job description

We are looking for a Workshop engineer who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years.

As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Technical Services Department supporting the garage in Madrid. You will be responsible of the installation, Repair and Fine-tuning with Sysmex product lines.


In this role you will:

Pre-installation:
• Hematology and Urinalysis Analyzers:

o Receiving and unpacking the equipment.
o Performing the physical installation of the analyzers following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Stand-alone Hematology and Urinalysis Equipment:

o Unpacking and inspecting the equipment.
o Installing the equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Repair:
• Hematology and Urinalysis Equipment:

o Diagnosing malfunctions and operational failures.
o Repairing malfunctions using appropriate tools and spare parts.
o Conducting functionality tests to verify proper repair.
o Documenting the repairs performed.


"Puesta a punto":
• Hematology and Urinalysis Equipment:

o Performing cleaning and preventive maintenance on the equipment.
o Verifying calibration and equipment operation.
o Adjusting operating parameters as necessary.
o Ensuring equipment compliance with technical specifications.
o Software updates.

Job requirements

What you need to be sucessful:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering or Biosciences
  • Advanced Certificate in electronics and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Native level of Spanish and fluent in English
  • Technical electronic equipment background, 3-5 years of experience managing technical teams (IVD industry)
  • Knowledge as a user of PC tools and software applications
  • Capable of working independently and to work under stressful situation
