We are looking for a Field Sales Representative who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years. As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Iberia Life Science Business Unit supporting the assigned region of Madrid and Castilla León.
Your role:
You will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong customer relationships in your assigned geographic area. You will act as a key partner for clients, identifying their scientific and diagnostic needs and offering tailored solutions using the full Sysmex portfolio. This is a strategic, hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong commercial background in medical devices or life science solutions, who is ready to take ownership and make an impact.
Customer & Relationship Management:
Actively develop and strengthen customer relationships in your assigned area.
Build long-term partnerships aligned with Sysmex's sales strategy and compliance policies.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and decision-makers, understanding their challenges and proposing added-value solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Focus on the Life Science product portfolio, with emphasis on Anatomical Pathology, Genetics, and Oncohematology.
Register reagents in purchasing systems and manage Free of Charge (FOC) equipment deliveries when needed.
Define and execute sales strategies in coordination with Application Specialists, Business Sector Managers, and Regional Sales Managers.
Take ownership of your sales budget (net sales, pricing) and manage forecasts through the CRM (Sales Funnel / Forecast).
Oversee the full sales process, including OGP (Order to Cash – order tracking, billing).
Lead commercial negotiations and close agreements based on customer needs.
Support with sales invoice collection when required.
Scientific & Technical Support:
Co-develop tailored diagnostic solutions with clients, offering scientific and clinical support.
Act as the main contact for solution formats, coordinating with all internal Sysmex resources.
Deliver product and scientific training to physicians and lab professionals.
Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and customer product demonstrations.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the market, competition, and customer evolution; share insights with your management team.
Data & CRM Management:
Continuously update CRM tools with relevant account activity, forecasts, and opportunities.
Collaborate with Product Specialists for product positioning and market insights.
Job requirements
What you need to be sucessful:
University degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the medical device or life science industry
Ideally, experience in Anatomical Pathology, Genetics, or Oncohematology
IT: MS Office, (CRM), management programs.
Fluent in English (al least B1) and Spanish (native)
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Customer-oriented, proactive, and strategic thinker
Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally
Willingness to travel regularly within your region
