Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Field Application Specialist & Field Sales Representative (FAS & FSR) to join our Diagnostics Business Unit.

This hybrid role combines technical application expertise and commercial responsibility, playing a key role in developing long-term customer partnerships and achieving sales objectives within the assigned region —> Comunidad de Madrid y Castilla la Mancha.

You will act as a trusted advisor to laboratories, supporting them both scientifically and commercially while contributing to sustainable business growth.

In this role you will:

🔬Application & Technical Support

  • Provide technical, clinical and scientific support to customers

  • Define and optimize laboratory workflows together with clients

  • Configure Sysmex solutions and manage installation processes from setup to go-live

  • Deliver user training in accordance with Sysmex IFU

  • Lead product demonstrations and scientific presentations

  • Collaborate with Technical Service, ICS, Business Sector Managers and other internal teams

  • Ensure accurate reporting of activities in CRM

📈 Sales & Business Development

  • Promote Sysmex products and services within the assigned territory

  • Develop tailored solutions based on customer needs (workflow studies, scientific support, etc.)

  • Define sales strategies together with the BS Manager and Regional Sales Manager

  • Prepare economic offers, negotiate and close agreements

  • Register and manage opportunities in CRM (Sales Funnel / Forecast)

  • Participate in local events and scientific meetings

  • Gather market intelligence and competitive insights

Job requirements

What you need to be sucessful:

Education:

  • University degree in Biosciences or equivalent

Experience:

  • 4–6 years of experience in laboratory technology (IVD)

  • Experience in laboratory procedures and specialized laboratories

  • Training experience

  • Knowledge of the medical/diagnostic industry

Languages & IT:

  • Fluent English

  • MS Office and CRM systems
