Job description

We are looking for a Field Application Specialist who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years. As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Iberia Diagnostics Department.

In this role you will:

Application Support:

  • Provide technical, clinical, and scientific guidance to customers

  • Define and optimize customer workflows

  • Oversee installation from configuration to go-live

  • Conduct user training according to Sysmex IFU

  • Assist the sales network with laboratory technology and in vitro diagnostic tests/procedures

  • Provide technical and clinical support while managing assigned accounts to generate revenue and promote Sysmex products

  • Act as the main contact between clients and Sysmex departments (technical, ICS, Business Sector Managers, etc.)

  • Increase sales workflow efficiency through product training and customer demos

  • Organize and participate in events related to Sysmex laboratory technology and diagnostics

Sales:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies with the BS Manager and Regional Sales Manager

  • Promote Sysmex products and services

  • Achieve sales targets and ensure revenue generation within assigned accounts

  • Register all opportunities in CRM (Sales Funnel/Forecast) and ensure accurate order tracking and billing (OGP – OTC)

  • Prepare offers, negotiate, and close agreements

  • Register reagents in purchases and manage FOC (Free of Charge) equipment when necessary

  • Provide scientific support and training to practitioners

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, and inform the Regional/BS Managers accordingly

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and update documentation, reports, and clinical guidelines

  • Continuously update CRM with relevant information

  • Build long-term customer partnerships aligned with company strategy

Job requirements

What you need to be sucessful:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a Biosciences related field

  • Native level of Spanish and fluent in English

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in sales and technical support, preferably in in vitro diagnostics or medical devices

  • Technical knowledge of IVD products/Industry

  • Strong attention to detail with superb organizational & analytical skills

  • Capacity to negotiate and close agreements

  • Commercial experience and high orientation to customers

  • Able to explain scientific complex solutions to all publics

  • Computer skills: MS Office, (CRM), management programs
