Job description

We are looking for a proactive, technology-driven student to join our team as an Intern in the Electromedical Equipment Repair Workshop. The selected candidate will participate in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment, as well as in the pre-installation and setup of Hematology and Urinalysis equipment. This role also includes the opportunity to accompany a specialized engineer on field installations and maintenance, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of critical healthcare devices.

Key responsabilities:

Field Installations and Maintenance Support

  • Assist specialist engineers in the maintenance of electromedical equipment.

  • Collaborate in real-time diagnosis and troubleshooting, following safety and quality protocols.

  • Support the configuration and setup of equipment at installation sites.

Workshop Pre-Installation

Hematology and Urinalysis Chains

  • Receive and unpack equipment.

  • Carry out physical installation of chains according to manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Configure and calibrate equipment.

  • Uninstall and pack equipment for transport.

Standalone Hematology and Urinalysis Equipment

  • Unpack and verify the condition of the equipment.

  • Install equipment following the manufacturer’s guidelines.

  • Conduct functional tests and calibration.

  • Uninstall and pack equipment after testing.

Repair

  • Diagnose malfunctions and equipment failures.

  • Repair issues using appropriate tools and replacement parts.

  • Perform functional tests to verify successful repair.

  • Document all repairs completed.

Setup and Maintenance

  • Clean and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

  • Verify calibration and performance.

  • Adjust operating parameters as necessary.

  • Ensure equipment meets technical specifications and perform software updates when needed.

Workshop Management

  • Keep the workshop clean and organized.

  • Arrange tools and work materials.

  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Additional Tasks

  • Participate in team meetings.

  • Train on new technologies and maintenance procedures.

  • Maintain a proactive and collaborative attitude within the team.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Currently studying Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Health Technology, or related fields.

  • Valid driving license and own vehicle to reach the workplace.

  • Intermediate knowledge of English (able to read technical manuals and basic communication).

  • Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanics.

  • Strong interest in the practical application of technical concepts, with motivation to learn and develop hands-on skills.

  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn.

  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a responsible attitude in handling equipment and tools.
