We are currently looking for a Business Line Manager to lead our Coagulation Business Line, integrating sales and marketing functions to drive strategic growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability in Spain and Portugal.

This is a key leadership role that combines strategic vision, commercial execution, and people management, ensuring our solutions are well-positioned in the market and meet the evolving needs of our customers.

In this role you will:

🔹 Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Define and execute the short- and long-term business and marketing plan for the Coagulation Business Line.

  • Lead and coach the sales team, setting clear objectives aligned with company strategy.

  • Oversee the full sales cycle, including opportunity management, CRM follow-up, and accurate forecasting.

  • Develop pricing strategies and coordinate offers in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and other internal teams.

🔹 Product & Market Management

  • Manage the product portfolio lifecycle, including launches, discontinuations, and optimization strategies.

  • Monitor market dynamics and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.

  • Act as a reference point for all product-related queries and support both internal teams and customers.

🔹 Public Tender Management

  • Lead the technical preparation and documentation for public tenders related to the Coagulation product line.

  • Analyze specifications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in coordination with the Tender team.

  • Act as a technical expert for the tender process and product positioning.

🔹 Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.

  • Represent Sysmex in national congresses, events, and EMEA strategic meetings.

  • Support high-quality product demonstrations and customer training, working closely with the Scientific & Applications Support (SAS) team.

  • Collaborate across the South-West region (France, Italy, Iberia) to create commercial synergies.

🔹 Team & Resource Management

  • Lead and develop the sales and marketing team within the Coagulation Business Line.

  • Manage performance reviews, individual development plans, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards, and environmental regulations.

Job requirements

What you need to be sucessful:

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Medicine, Biomedicine, Biology or a related field (MBA desirable).

  • 4–6 years of experience in IVD, laboratory, or medical diagnostics sectors.

  • Proven track record in sales and/or marketing leadership, including CRM and P&L management.

Languages & IT

  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a strong plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Dynamics CRM and Loop.
